Our love affair with Samoyeds began in 1968 with our first dog who became CH.& O.T.CH. SNO HAVEN'S ALPHA,U.D., only the third Samoyed to earn his Utility Degree in Canada. Our first homebred was from a litter of one, BIS CAN.AM.CH. DUSHANBE'S THE ONE AND ONLY,ROMC, CAN.AM.C.D., the first Canadian bred female Samoyed to win Best in Show in Canada.
We have produced over fifty champions since those early days, many with Best Puppy in Show wins and Group Firsts and other placements. We also have produced five generations of Champion/C.D. Samoyeds proving that our line is both beautiful and intelligent.
After fourteen years away from breeding and active showing in which we raised two handsome sons, it was time to get back into showing again.
Our "star" since then is GCH BIS CH. VANDERBILT'S MAN O' WAR, CD,CGN,RAE,TT,TDI who was the TOP WINNING SAMOYED PUPPY IN CANADA in 2003 with several Best Puppy in Show, many Best Puppy in Group, a Group First and several placings.
As a two year old, Manny won BEST IN SHOW, four Group First plus many placings and was *THIRD TOP WINNING SAMOYED IN CANADA FOR 2005*. As a sire, Manny has four champions from his litter with our "Tenny" plus another pointed ...out of a litter of six.
In 2007, Manny added two more titles to his name...Rally Novice and GRAND CHAMPION. This was the first year either of these titles were available and are we ever proud of our boy ! Then, during our first weekend of shows in 2008, Manny completed his Rally Advanced and Rally Excellent titles with three first in class out of the four trials. Then in May of 2010 he completed the requirements for the new Rally Advanced Excellent title. Talk about a whiz kid !
